Passly exists to celebrate. This Acceptable Use Policy explains what may not be done with the service, in order to protect hosts, guests and third parties. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions and applies to all content: invitations, galleries, comments, messages, the event app, the directory and anything generated with AI.
1. Prohibited content
- Content that is illegal in Mexico or in the country where it is published or viewed.
- Any sexual content involving minors, or that sexualizes them. We will report it to the authorities.
- Sexually explicit or intimate content of any person without their consent.
- Content that incites hatred, violence or discrimination based on ethnic origin, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, health condition or any other protected characteristic.
- Threats, harassment, intimidation or exposing someone's personal data in order to harass them (doxing).
- Content that infringes third parties' copyrights, trademarks, image rights or privacy (photos, music, logos, commercial typefaces) without permission.
- False or misleading information that may cause harm, scams, fraud, pyramid schemes or the sale of illegal products.
- Content that promotes self-harm, eating disorders or dangerous activities.
- Impersonation: pretending to be another person, a company or Passly, or creating AI-generated content that deceives about real people.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages, including via WhatsApp, or using guest lists for commercial purposes unrelated to the event.
- Uploading personal data you do not need for your event (official IDs, banking details, medical records) or data obtained unlawfully.
- Organizing or promoting events for unlawful purposes, or selling tickets fraudulently.
- Attempting to access other people's accounts, events or data without permission, guessing links or tokens, or circumventing technical limits, PINs or access controls.
- Testing for vulnerabilities without authorization (if you find one, report it as described in Security).
- Introducing malicious code, overloading the service or automating its use (bots, scraping) except with our authorization.
- Using the custom HTML block or other advanced features to insert malicious scripts, trackers, forms that ask for passwords or payment details, or content that imitates another site.
- Reselling the service or sharing accounts without authorization.
3. Minors at celebrations
Quinceañera (XV años) celebrations, baptisms and children's birthday parties are welcome. Publish photos and data of minors only with the permission of their mother, father or guardian, and avoid showing information that would allow them to be located outside the event.
4. What we do in case of a breach
Depending on the severity, we may warn you, remove or disable content, unpublish an invitation, limit features or suspend or cancel the account, and notify the authorities when the law requires it. Except in urgent cases or where legally prohibited, we will explain the measure and how to appeal, as described in the Terms.
5. How to report
If you see something that breaches this policy, report it using the form in the Intellectual Property Policy (it works for any illegal content, not just copyright) or write to [PENDIENTE: Correo legal (p. ej. legal@wepassly.com)].
