From here you can exercise any right over your personal data, whether or not you have a Passly account. You can also use it to request a refund, withdraw from a purchase or appeal a decision about your content.
1. The fastest route
| If you are… | Do this |
|---|---|
| A user with an account | Settings → Privacy and data (Ajustes → Privacidad y datos): download all your data, review the documents you accepted, change your cookies or delete your account, instantly. |
| A guest at an event | Open your invitation and tap “Your data” (“Tus datos”) at the bottom: you will see what the host holds about you and can ask for it to be corrected or deleted. |
| Anyone else | Use the form below. |
2. Request form
When you submit it you will see a reference number and the response deadline. You can also write to [PENDIENTE: Correo de privacidad (p. ej. privacidad@wepassly.com)].
3. What you can request
- Access: to know what data we hold and how we use it, and to receive a copy.
- Rectification: to correct inaccurate data.
- Cancellation / erasure: to delete your data.
- Objection and restriction: for us to stop using it for certain purposes.
- Portability: to receive it in a structured format (JSON).
- Withdrawal of consent, for example regarding health data or optional cookies.
- In California: to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share).
4. Deadlines and verification
We respond within the shortest deadline that applies to you: 20 business days (Mexico), 1 month (EU and United Kingdom) or 45 days (California). If we need more time, we will let you know within the deadline and explain why, as the law allows.
To protect your data, we verify your identity in a proportionate way: usually it is enough to reply from your account email or, if you are a guest, to open the request from your own invitation. We will never ask you for more data than necessary. You may act through a representative with written authorization.
Exercising your rights is free of charge. We could only charge reproduction costs or refuse a request if it is manifestly unfounded or excessive, and we will explain why.
5. Requests about event data
Guest data is decided on by the event host. When we receive your request, we forward it to the host immediately; the host can resolve it with one click. If the host does not do so within 10 business days, Passly steps in so that your request is handled within the legal deadline.
6. If you are not satisfied
You can contact the data protection authority in your country: in Mexico, the Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Ministry (Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno); in the EU, your supervisory authority; in the United Kingdom, the ICO; in California, the California Privacy Protection Agency.
